Weather Closure Alert: Parsons Making Center will close at 3:00 PM on February 22 and will remain closed through February 23.

The New School’s NYC campus will be closed Monday, February 23, 2026. All classes, activities, and meetings have been canceled. All administrative offices will be closed, however any function that has been designated as essential to the continued and safe operation of the campus will be required to report to work as normal. Staff who are not designated essential on-site employees are not expected to work remotely in order to support childcare or other related inclement weather needs.

Residence Halls will remain open for students. The public areas of the University Center will be open Monday from 7:30am to 12:00am for those seeking shelter from the storm. Dining services will operate on a modified schedule starting at 10:00am, but all classrooms, labs, workshops, libraries, and Student Health Services will be closed.

Please be safe and, if possible, stay indoors.
