Ebony Joiner - Technician, Wood & Metal

Ebony Joiner is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is characterized by domestic construction methods, home videos, recorded phone calls and chairs, but is dedicated to composition, memory, secret-keeping, and fragmentation. She graduated from NYU with BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Chemistry and was born in Lockport, NY, raised in Dearborn Heights, MI, but always says she’s from Detroit. She likes empty theaters, was a terribly shy kid, and misses her family.
