Luis Manuel Diaz - Technician, Media Resources

Luis Manuel Diaz (born in Michoacán, Mexico) is a visual artist working with photography. Drawing from personal and communal history, his practice examines the post-migration consciousness: investigating notions of home, citizenship, and care. He has exhibited work at Aperture Foundation, Bronx Art Space, Arnold and Sheila Aronson Gallery, and Baxter St Camera Club among others. He’s been commissioned by The Nation, The New Yorker, The California Sunday, and published by BOOOOOOOM, JOIA, i-D, Musee, and Foam Magazine among others. Diaz holds a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design and is currently based between Westchester, New York, and Stamford, Connecticut.
