Gabriela Awad - Technician, Textiles

Gabriela is an interdisciplinary textile artist and recent graduate of Wellesley College, where she received a B.A. in Studio Art and Middle Eastern Studies. Her work examines the traditions of textile-based practices in SWANA, with a particular focus on the Levant. Primarily a weaver, she also enjoys quilting, embroidering, and printmaking.
