Orientation, Training, and Workshops

Safety Orientations and Training Sessions

Below are the Labs, Shops, and Studios that require students to complete specific orientations or training before they have access to a specific space.  Sign up for a training using the button link, found in the top right corner on the respective facility pages. First Year undergraduates will get the General Shop training in the N2 Shop (66 Fifth Avenue) as part of their Space and Materiality courses. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year undergraduates who have been trained in the old L9 (2 West 13th Street) general shop will not need to do any additional training in the N2 Shop. Stickers for New School IDs will be issued to indicate training has been completed, and will need to be presented when accessing spaces or specific equipment.
