Slip Casting Workshop

The Slip Casting Workshop is a 1.5 hour training session that covers the basics of slip casting an object.

Students will be shown how to make a mold for slip casting, how to cast their work, and how to submit their work to be fired in the E4 kiln.  This is a hands-on workshop with no prerequisites or prior mold-making experience necessary.

This beginner-level workshop is open to all interested Parsons students. Material and required safety equipment is provided.

Use the links below to register for a workshop. which are limited to 10 students per session. All time slot requests must be made by 5PM the day prior to the scheduled workshop.  Please meet in the E4 Wet Area located on the 4th floor of 25 East 13th Street.

Please dress appropriately for mold-making/casting environment.
