Making Center Labs, Shops and Studios are open as planned. Capacity may be reduced at equipment checkouts and MC store desks.
After the events of Friday May 3 we’ve struggled through continuous challenges and disruptions on campus that have affected access to some Making Center spaces. The staff have been working above and beyond to minimize interruptions and ensure that students are able to complete work. As of the morning of Wednesday May 8 all Making Center labs, shops and studios are fully accessible and operating as planned and communicated on our website, space pages, shared calendars, and local signage. Given the many different responsibilities of the students who work with us to operate spaces we have been very flexible to their priorities. Some student-staffed spaces like our equipment checkouts and store desks may be functioning at a reduced capacity as a result. Thank you for your patience and continued community with our team.
