Equipment Resource Center (ERC)

Welcome to the Equipment Resource Center (ERC)

The ERC offers advanced reservations and walk-in equipment checkouts for student, faculty and staff use. We operate fully in-person and are located in the basement of 66 Fifth Avenue, room 001.

Please complete the MAKING CENTER ERC RENTAL AGREEMENT CONTRACT before attempting to request equipment. Once the agreement form has been completed, please stop by the ERC in person where a technician can assist you with making any reservations or checkouts. The ERC is located in the basement of 66 Fifth Avenue, room 001. All checkouts are for 24-hours, there is no grace period for late returns. Weekend checkouts are available Friday mornings (before 12pm) on a walk-in, first come, first serve basis. For more information about Weekend checkouts please complete the Rental Agreement Contract, or visit the ERC to speak more with a technician.

ERC Hours

Spring 2024 (Monday January 22nd, 2024 – Friday May 17th, 2024)

Closed during Spring Break (3/11/24 – 3/17/24).

Monday – Friday 

8:30am – 9:00am (returns and faculty equipment pickup only)

9:00am – 10:00pm (normal operations)

10:00pm – 10:30pm (returns only)

Saturday & Sunday

10:30am – 11:00am (returns only)

11:00am – 9:00pm (normal operations)

9:00pm – 9:30pm (returns only)

**Last day for weekend checkout is Friday May 3rd, 2024, 9am-12pm.**

**Please note, from Monday May 6th, 2024 through Friday May 17th, 2024, all checkouts are same day pickup and return only. No 24-hour checkouts. All equipment due back same day before closing.**

After May 17th, 2024, we will be closed until the start of the Summer Semester, reopening for regular operations to those enrolled in summer programs Tuesday May 28th, 2024.
