Print Finishing Studio

Spring break hours of operation:

The Photography & Media Resources facilities will be open from 9 am – 4 pm on Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20. All facilities will be closed over the weekend. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, March 23.

Orientations for printing, scanning, and heat press access are limited and available by appointment only. Please contact the Photography & Media Resources team by email for more information.

Students wishing to use this space must check in at the front desk, located in the fifth-floor lobby of 66 Fifth Avenue. Those with the required prior training for the respective resources may schedule appointments at the desk.

The Print Finishing Studio located in room 503 on the fifth floor of 66 5th Avenue is an open print lab and print finishing space available to all students within Parsons School of Design. With plenty of open viewing space and equipped with Epson and Canon Professional Inkjet printers utilizing the latest in inkjet pigment printing technology, the fifth floor space is one of many locations on campus for students to make professional-quality, high-resolution prints on their own inkjet paper.

The lab space features:

– EIZO ColorEdge CG2700X 27″ 4K HDR Monitors

– Epson 10000XL Flatbed Scanner*

– Epson SureColor P20000 60″ Inkjet Printer*

– Epson SureColor P9000 44″ Inkjet Printer*

– Canon Pro-1000 17″ Inkjet Printer*

– Flextight X1 Film Scanner*

– Heat Press Machines (exclusively for fiber-based photo paper)*

Students also have access to a variety of printers and scanners via IT Technology Labs.
